The Eritrean Community in Winnipeg (ECW) has been a cornerstone for Eritreans since 1983, fostering connection, culture, and support for newcomers. As a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization, ECW helps families adapt to life in Canada while celebrating Eritrean heritage and values of resilience, solidarity, and hospitality.

Ensure the well-being of Eritrean-Canadians in Manitoba; preserve Eritrean heritage and the spirit of solidarity; facilitate adaptation and integration while promoting multiculturalism, innovation, and inspiration; and build understanding and harmony with the wider Canadian society.
